Purdue's Human Research Protection Program is charged with ensuring that all human subjects research conducted by faculty, staff and students under the auspices of Purdue University is conducted ethically and in a manner that promotes the protection of the rights and welfare of human subjects. In addition to an educational mission, we facilitate submission of research protocols to Purdue's Institutional Review Board (IRB).
IRB Activity Moving to PERA
Purdue’s HRPP and IRB activity will be moving this fall from Cayuse to the PERA system. The expected go-live date in PERA is Monday, October 27th. To prepare for this, we will be posting and sending out communication in the coming months about demonstrations, trainings, and Cayuse submission cutoffs. For now, if you have a Continuing Review due or plan to submit a new study in October or November, please consider getting those items submitted in CAYUSE as soon as possible.
