IRB Meeting Dates
The Purdue IRB generally meets twice a month on Tuesdays.
Studies requiring review by the convened IRB committee (“full board”) must be submitted by the deadlines below to be reviewed at the meeting date indicated. These studies include those that are greater than minimal risk or do NOT meet the criteria for expedited review. Note that exempt and expedited protocol reviews are conducted on a rolling basis subject to designated reviewer availability.
Submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. one week prior to the meeting date. They must be ready to be reviewed by the convened IRB to be placed on the agenda for the meeting. Submitting a study by the due date does not guarantee it will be reviewed at the meeting as there may be clarifications required prior to IRB review.
