Who We Are

The Human Research Protection Program is charged with the responsibility of ensuring that all human subjects research conducted by faculty, staff and students under the auspices of Purdue University is conducted ethically and in a manner that promotes the protection of the rights and welfare of human subjects.

Mission

The mission of the Purdue University Human Research Protection Program is to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects involved in research activities conducted under the auspices of Purdue University, promoting the highest ethical standards for conducting research while addressing the needs and concerns of researchers and enhancing support of their endeavors.

Vision

The vision of the Purdue University HRPP is to become one of the leading programs in the country, serving as a role model for the protection of human research participants to other institutions.
